Orofino Christmas Festival Coming Up Nov. 30th, 2018!

The Orofino Chamber of Commerce Christmas Festival will begin November 30th, 2018. Our Theme this year is, “Twas The Night Before Christmas”.

We invite ALL businesses to participate!! Please email director@orofino.com or call 208-476-4335 to let me know if you will be participating in the Window Decorating contest and/or hosting an “open house”.

Window Decorating Contest:

We want to spread the holiday cheer and would like to extend our Window Decorating Contest to ALL businesses.

The Decorated Windows will be photographed and posted on the Chamber Facebook page as soon as they are completed. Please send an email to director@orofino.com when it’s completed and we will get the picture taken and posted.

Orofino residents will have the opportunity to participate by Voting on their favorite window. Residents can go into a business and place their vote. Each business will offer a prize for voters and a winner will be drawn Monday, December 17th. All names will then go into a drawing and the Grand prize winner will receive Santa at their home Christmas Eve.

Voting begins December 1st and ends December 16th.

The Business with the most votes on the window decorating contest will receive a Trophy to be displayed at their business.

Here are the businesses who are participating:
We have our Merchant Window Decorating Contest starting Saturday – you can go to the following businesses and check out their Christmas Spirit and vote for your favorite!

It’s time to sign up for next weekend’s Parade!!! The Chamber of Commerce wants to see you shine! We mean in the Old Fashioned Light Parade. This year’s theme will be “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. Light up those clothes, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, animals, or trailers. Whatever your heart desires! Bring it down and enter the parade on November 30th. Parade starts at 6:00pm and line up will begin at 5:00pm. The parade line will start on C Street between the First Christian Church and the old Junior High gym. Parade begins down Michigan Ave onto Johnson Ave. The parade will proceed down and around Brookside to Sunset Mart. We ask all parade entries to continue to Riverside Ave and up above the court house then back down to find somewhere to park. Parade entries will not be able to pull down to the park, please find somewhere to park your vehicle and walk down to the park. We are excited to keep growing this memory and making it a great event for our community. We are aiming to beat the entries from last year! WE CAN DO IT!!!
