The Orofino Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is seeking a creative, experienced, and dynamic individual to become the next Executive Director for the Orofino Chamber of Commerce. This position is a full-time position in our Orofino Idaho office and will perform a wide variety of functions within our Chamber Office.
The Executive Director is responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all Chamber Events and activities including but not limited to overseeing the chamber daily administration, all chamber fundraising activities, establishing and building relationships with business and industry leaders for purposes of supporting the Chamber, and various events designed to raise funds or advance the image of the Chamber in the community. The Executive Director reports directly to the Chamber Board of Directors.
A successful candidate will show proven skills that include strong administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills; fund-raising and marketing experience. The Board is seeking an individual that can envision an exciting and vibrant future for the Chamber, the region and its businesses, and advance the Chamber’s strategic plan and goals. A committed individual will be required to work some night, weekends and some holidays depending on events schedules.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated successful experience in Administrative, planning, development and fundraising. This is a salaried position and salary will be determined with experience. A closing date on all applications will be June 30th, 2017 EOE/ADA
